The circuit is a hybrid of silicon and germanium semiconductors. The tones range from vintage-inspired warm textures to synthy square wave crunchiness.
OCTAVE adjusts the amount of upper-octave effect, adding a crisp, crunchy layer to your sound. The effect is strongest on higher notes and is single note focused.
TONE shapes the high-frequency response after the fuzz circuit, allowing you to balance the sound between brightness and warmth.
LEVEL sets the output volume of the pedal.
FUZZ controls the overall fuzz intensity, from subtle grit to unruly, chaotic fuzz.
WEAR simulates the sound of a dying battery by adjusting the internal voltage between 9V (counterclockwise) and 5V (clockwise). The low voltage causes the transistors to bias incorrectly, producing a more unstable, chaotic lo-fi sound.
TRUE BYPASS WITH INITIAL STATE SWITCH lets you set the pedal’s startup state using the side switch, determining whether it powers up in bypass or engaged mode.
